Davenport Claims ITL Batter of the Month Award Saturday, September 1st, 2035 Paul Davenport put together a good August to earn the International League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Amarillo officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Archdukes catcher posted a .485 batting average with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 30 runs scored. Davenport is hitting .386 this year with 24 home runs and 81 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .529, 102 walks and scored 99 times. |
