Kramer Booms 3 Homers Wednesday, August 23rd , 2051 It was a good day for the Doral Arepas and an exceptional one for Joe Kramer. The 21-year-old third baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Arepas beat the Olympia Marshalls 7-5 at The Corral. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Kramer said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 4 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Joe Kramer hit a two-run home run off Dan Brooks in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dan Brooks in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Shannon Jones in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. To date, Kramer has collected 84 hits for a .291 average. He has posted 27 home runs, scored 54 runs and driven in 58 runs. |
