Richardson's Smith Gets PCL Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2051 One of the league's most exciting young players, Joe Smith of the Richardson Barons earned himself Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old first baseman had a lofty .417 average (10-for-24), collecting 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this year Smith is batting .278 with 20 home runs. |
