Vallee Bangs 3 HR Against Cornwall Tuesday, July 6th , 2055 Santo Domingo right fielder Luke Vallee blasted three homers at Regions Field in the 5-4 Dragons victory over the Cornwall Royals. For the game, Luke Vallee scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Vallee when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Vallee told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Luke Vallee hit a solo-shot off Armando Vallos in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Bill Evans in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Dave Henderson in the 11th. To date, Vallee has collected 33 hits for a .371 average. He has posted 7 home runs, scored 20 runs and driven in 21 runs. |
