Waco's Monroe Snaps Up August Batting Award Tuesday, September 1st , 2043 Waco Blue Cats fans believe they've got a talented young star in Joseph Monroe. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .427 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 14 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the Pacific Coast League Batter of the Month. In 97 games this season Monroe has compiled a .358 batting average with 127 hits and 20 home runs. He has also scored 69 times and knocked in 80 runs. |
