					| | Chapel Hill Stops Williams Hit Streak Thursday, July 20th , 2056
Kenneth Williams, third baseman for the Indiana Hounds, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 4 tries against the Chapel Hill Sharks. Not only did the Sharks break his 22-game hitting streak, they also beat Indiana by the score of 16-3.

"Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Williams said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate."

This year, Williams has 10 home runs and a .389 batting average.
