Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Redwoods Morataya Tuesday, September 19th , 2051 The Redwood City Redwoods plan to take it slow with first baseman Tomás Morataya, knowing that his recovery from a bruised wrist would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Tomás has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated." Currently Morataya is batting .264 with 12 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
