Houston Hammertime Take Round 2 Friday, September 22nd , 2051 The Houston Hammertime ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Olympia Marshalls 4-2 to win the Round 2. Houston won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 6th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Houston manager Brian Steele. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 86-54 and claimed first place in the Pacific Coast League. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and left fielder Eric Hendricks said the Hammertime have "great fans and they deserve this."
