Sunday, August 31st , 2053
Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Vipers-89ers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Vancouver first baseman Aaron Hahn thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Vancouver to a win, 9-4, over Oklahoma City.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Hahn said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Hahn was 3-for-5 on the day with 6 RBI.
Aaron Hahn flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off William Fitzpatrick in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Francesco Patti in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Bill Love in the 9th.
This year, Hahn has hit 13 home runs and posted a .336 batting average.
