Norris Blasts 3 out of the Park Tuesday, August 17th , 2055 Whatever Warner Norris ate for breakfast before his game against the Lanchaster Farmstormers, it gave him some impressive power. The Trenton first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Trenton Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Stars defeat the Farmstormers, 15-8. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 4 times, drove in 8 and put on a display that history will remember. Warner Norris singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Barney McKinney in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Albert Banks in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Pat Bruce in the 8th. So far this season, Norris has 36 home runs and a .347 batting average. |
