Warner Norris, the Trenton Stars 25-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for International League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 19 hits in 30 at-bats, compiling a .633 average with 5 home runs and 16 RBIs. This year, Norris has batted at a .364 pace with 122 hits, 37 home runs, 99 RBIs and scored 73 times. |
