Tides ace Quirino DiVittorio is the latest Pacific Coast League Outstanding Pitcher Award trophy winner. The Galveston star shined on the diamond time and again this year and finished with an outstanding 11-6 record.

In 29 starts he tossed 162.2 innings, posted 133 strikeouts and sported a 4.48 ERA. Opposing batters hit .255 when DiVittorio was pitching.

He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 28. Chris Collier of the Knoxville Johnnys finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jonathan Hewitt of the Richardson Barons finished third.
