New England second baseman Jerry Stephenson thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the New England to a win, 9-5, over Gilbert. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Stephenson said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Stephenson, who is tied for 5th in the ITL in RBI with 17, was 3-for-5 on the day with 4 runs batted in. Jerry Stephenson hit a solo-shot off Juan López in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Juan López in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Juan López in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
