Great Stroke: Balbiano Gets 5 Hits Monday, June 27th , 2050 It was high-fives all around for Clodio Balbiano at Mohave County Field today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Spokane Trappers. Balbiano smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 11-9 win. "Clodio was hitting everything," said Millers manager Gerardo García. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Trappers manager told BNN beat writers that Balbiano "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Balbiano oversleeps next time." Clodio Balbiano hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
