Santa Monica Loses Jim Cote for Season Sunday, July 1st , 2046 The Santa Monica Bruins were dealt a severe blow when Jim Cote was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Memphis Redbirds. After the game, the team trainer reported Cote might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn rotator cuff. They indicated it would take Cote at least 14-15 months to heal. |
