Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Hounds-Bruins game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Indiana center fielder Carlos Martínez thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Indiana to a 12-3 win over Santa Monica.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Martínez said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Martínez was 3-for-4 on the day with 6 runs batted in.
