Round 1 Goes the Distance, Moose Jaw Prevails Thursday, September 14th , 2051 The Moose Jaw Ghostbusters and Tucson Toros held nothing back in an entertaining Round 1 that went the distance. In the end, it will be Moose Jaw advancing to the Round 2, after a 9-7 triumph in the final game at Proton Place, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Ghostbusters players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Toros. Floyd Bunch was named series MVP for Moose Jaw. For the series, Bunch hit .385 with a .448 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Moose Jaw Ghostbusters will play against the Buffalo LightSabres in the next round. Buffalo won their series against the Butler White Sox 4 games to 0.
