Meatheads End Walker Streak Tuesday, April 27th , 2055 Cliff Walker of the Calgary Cowboys came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 1 at-bat for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the center fielder, Calgary dropped the game to the Manhatten Meatheads, 8-2. "It was not a good day today," Walker told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This year, Walker is batting .413 with 43 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 29 times and has batted in 22 runs. |
