Jasper's Marín NL #1 Batter in May Wednesday, June 1st, 2039 Enrique Marín is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Jasper third baseman joined that select company when the National League announced the results of May's voting. Marín totaled 42 hits, 12 walks, 4 home runs, 33 RBIs and 26 runs scored last month to put together a .365 batting average and .425 on-base percentage. Presently Marín is batting .342 and has collected 6 home runs, 51 RBIs, .393 OBP and scored 33 runs. |
