Gary Moore discovered that today at Pride Field, as he smashed three home runs during the 12-5 Calgary Cowboys win over the Cincinnati Pride. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Calgary first baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Moore, who is tied for 8th in the NL in total bases with 102, finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 7 RBIs. Gary Moore hit a two-run home run off Thomas Hughes in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Thomas Hughes in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Sam Newbury in the 8th. Moore is hitting .307 in 2055 with 40 RBIs and 18 home runs. |
