Monday, June 19th , 2051
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Patriots Memorial Park buzzing, Fishkill Patriots left fielder Juan Davis blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 14-1 win over the Plumstead Eagles.
"Everything was clicking," Davis told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Davis shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Patriots manager Steve Snyder said. "Juan played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Juan Davis flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Lou Edwards in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Lou Edwards in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Willie Ward in the 8th.
