López Hits in 31 Straight Games Monday, June 26th , 2051 Jasper third baseman Nick López keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 31 games after collecting 2 hits at The Cougar Den today. The Cougars took the 7-3 victory over the Colorado Commanders. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," López said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Nick López singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This season in 72 games López is batting .371 with 22 home runs, 63 RBIs and has scored 59 times. |
