Season May Be Over for Cougars Norris Monday, July 3rd , 2051 A blow for Jeff Norris today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12-13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Norris suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Jasper Cougars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Norris's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Norris's record this season is 3-and-0 with no saves and a 4.63 ERA. He has given up 30 hits in 46.2 innings with 57 strikeouts. |
