Aldridge Sensational, 5-for-6 Thursday, July 6th , 2051 Seattle left fielder Clark Aldridge had a fantastic day at the plate at Sick's Stadium today, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a 19-5 victory. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Aldridge said after his 5-for-6 performance against the Pride. "No offense meant to Cincinnati, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Sick's Stadium." After the game, his manager elaborated on the left fielder's improvements, saying Aldridge spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Aldridge said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Clark Aldridge grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
