Hoskins Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, July 16th , 2051 Chris Hoskins, center fielder for the Concord Coyotes, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 7-4 victory today over the Nashua Redlegs at Redleg Field today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Nashua manager Andrés Macías said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Chris Hoskins walked in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. So far this season Hoskins is batting .370 with 44 home runs, 100 RBIs and 102 runs scored. He has 125 hits in 338 at-bats, 62 walks and a .469 OBP. Hoskins has played in 89 games. |
