Ávila Twirls 12-0 Shutout for Sinners Friday, June 26th , 2054 Felipe Ávila hurled a fine game for the Surrey Sinners at The Royal Gorge, holding the Colorado Commanders to 7 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Surrey manager Octávio Morín said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The left-hander had 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 12-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Colorado manager Chris Spencer said. "We couldn't get anything going.
