Andrés Bolgheri Rockets 3 Home Runs Thursday, July 20th , 2051 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Redleg Field buzzing, Millwall Lions first baseman Andrés Bolgheri blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 17-4 win over the Nashua Redlegs. "Everything was clicking," Bolgheri told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Bolgheri shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 6 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Lions manager Kyle Williams said. "Andrés played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Andrés Bolgheri grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Javier Carranza in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off António Núñez in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Blake Ayers in the 9th. This year Bolgheri has hit at a .318 pace and produced 18 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 7 runs. |
