Gómez Cracks 3 HRs for Calgary Monday, July 24th , 2051 Whatever Juan Gómez ate for breakfast before his game against the Seattle Rainiers today, it gave him some impressive power. The Calgary first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Sick's Stadium. His home run barrage led the Cowboys to take the 7-3 victory over the Rainiers. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 3 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Juan Gómez singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Manuel López in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Manuel López in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Zachary Austin in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
