Preston Parks 3 HR in the Seats Monday, July 31st , 2051 It was a good day for the Aberdeen Scorpions and an exceptional one for Sam Preston. The 21-year-old third baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Scorpions beat the Surrey Sinners 10-8 at Grays Harbor Ballpark. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Preston said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats. Sam Preston hit a two-run home run off Amid bin Fath in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Amid bin Fath in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off T.J.
