July's NL Batter of Month Award Announced Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 Lonnie Lilly has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Surrey Sinners star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the National League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .421 average with 12 home runs, 35 RBIs and 28 runs scored. This season Lilly is batting .342 with 125 hits, 48 home runs, 131 RBIs, 47 walks, .422 OBP and has scored 93 runs. He has played in 94 games. |
