Savannah Starter Wins July's Pitcher Award Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 The premier pitcher this past month in the Continental League was Sterling Ascensio of the Savannah Hogs. He was one mighty tough pitcher, finishing July with a sensational 5-0 record and a 1.85 ERA. The Hogs star made 5 starts and surrendered 25 hits in 34 innings. He struck out 22 and walked 14.
