Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Davis Saturday, August 12th , 2051 Danny Davis's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Millwall right fielder smacked 3 hits against the Evanston Elitists in today's game at Jewel/Oscp Stadium, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Lions drop the game, 12-8. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Danny Davis flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Mark Slocock in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Teagan Short in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season Davis has hit .434 with 16 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 27 times. |
