Night Creepers Blank Redlegs, Harris Wins Monday, September 17th, 2035 It wasn't easy but the Phoenix Night Creepers made it look that way. Starter Neal Harris shut out the Nashua Redlegs despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Phoenix Night Creepers cruised to victory, 7-0. Harris allowed only 1 hit and rang up 11 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." Harris has made 29 starts so far this year and put up a 8-8 won-lost record with a 4.62 ERA. In 156 innings he has allowed 160 hits, walked 43 and struck out 176. View Boxscore View Game Log |
