Moreno Snags CL Batting Honor in August Friday, September 1st , 2051 When Alfredo Moreno stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Continental League Batter of the Month award. The young Fishkill left fielder posted a .402 batting average with 19 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 36 runs. Moreno also worked pitchers for 19 walks to post a .488 on-base percentage. Thus far this year Moreno is batting .364 with 47 home runs, 81 RBIs and 102 runs scored. |
