Bang-up Game: Adler Slams 3 Homers
Friday, July 10th , 2054
Every now and then, everything just comes together.
Paul Adler discovered that today at Redleg Field, as he smashed three home runs during the 12-2 Nashua Redlegs win over the Savannah Hogs.
"I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Nashua left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it."
Adler, who is tied for 2nd in the CL in extra base hits with 68, finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 6 RBIs.
Paul Adler hit a three-run home run off Cliff Pannell in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cliff Pannell in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Juan Acosta in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th.
For the season, Adler is hitting .360, batted in 105 runs with 38 home runs and 80 runs scored.
