Red-Hot Rampage Reaps CL Reward Monday, July 13th , 2054 Continental League pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Bill Bannatyne, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .391 for the week to win the CL Player of the Week Award. The Bethany Beach left fielder cracked 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 6 home runs, drove in 11 runs and scored 7 times. Batting .338 to date, Bannatyne has 34 home runs and 79 RBIs. |
