Jasper Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Monday, August 3rd , 2054 It has been a woeful season for the Jasper Cougars and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Ed Massey. "And nothing broke our way this year." Jasper last appeared in the postseason in 2050. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 10 times in their 16-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cougars have missed the playoffs 4 times. Jasper last won the Round 2 in 2044. |
