Appalachian League Announces September's Top Pitcher Monday, October 1st, 2035 Joseph Fullerton hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Appalachian League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In September the Phoenix starter earned a 4-0 mark in 4 starts. He threw 32 innings, struck out 33 and compiled a solid 0.84 ERA. To date this year, Fullerton shows a 14-7 record, 30 starts, 172 innings, 165 strikeouts and a 3.24 ERA. |
