Red-Hot August Lands Davis Batting Prize in CL Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 When Shawn Davis stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Continental League Batter of the Month award. The young Nashua right fielder posted a .366 batting average with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 26 runs. Davis also worked pitchers for 28 walks to post a .527 on-base percentage. Davis has a .337 average and a .496 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 144 hits, 52 home runs and driven in 130 runs. |
