Jaxx Heading to Round 2 Saturday, September 5th , 2054 It's a sweet sweep for the Erie Jaxx and they have won the Round 1. The Minnesota Death Stars were not able to keep pace with the Jaxx and dropped the series in short order, losing, 8-6, in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Minnesota manager Jesús Martínez. It's now on to the Round 2 for Erie after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was right fielder Terry Sargent, who was named MVP. For the series, Sargent hit .588 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Erie Jaxx don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Surrey Sinners - Aberdeen Scorpions series.
