Concord Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Thursday, September 14th , 2051 The joy and relief on the faces of the Concord Coyotes players was obvious as they celebrated their Round 1 win over the Millwall Lions. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Concord center fielder Chris Hoskins, shortly after the 13-8 win that clinched the series 4-3. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Round 2. Hoskins won series MVP honors on the strength of his .429 batting average during the series. He also had a .500 on-base percentage and 4 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 10 runs. The Concord Coyotes will play against the Del Mar Racers in the next round.
