Coyotes Sweep Del Mar in Round 2 Wednesday, September 20th , 2051 The Concord Coyotes made it look easy today as they collected the 8th Round 2 championship in club history. They swept the Del Mar Racers in straight games, winning the series 4-0. The Coyotes disposed of Del Mar 2-1 in the series finale at Berry Field. "They were the better team this year, no doubt about it," said Racers manager Ron Bartlett. During the regular season, Concord put up a 102-38 record and finished first in the Continental League.
