Lakers Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, August 26th , 2053 Postseason baseball won't be coming to Chisago Lakes this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the Chisago Lakes Lakers today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Lakers manager George Moore, "but it never gets fun." The Lakers have made the playoffs 11 times in their 47 years as a 24 & Under's franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2039. |
