Nathan Moore was a calming influence out of the Del Mar Racers bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 21-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the National League Reliever of the Year Award for 2051.

The Sycamore, Illinois native won the award with 38 saves in 56 relief appearances, 71 strikeouts in 66 innings and a record of 9-3 to go with his 1.91 ERA.

He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Anthony Thomas of the Jasper Cougars finished second in voting, while Johnny Hunt of the Del Mar Racers finished third.
