Del Mar's Ron Bartlett Named Top NL Manager Tuesday, October 3rd , 2051 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Ron Bartlett, he seems to have taken the Del Mar Racers to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the National League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Bartlett led Del Mar to a first place finish in the National League. The Racers ended up with a 97-43 record. |
