Continental League Best Pitcher Named Wednesday, October 4th , 2051 The Corpus Christi Hooks have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Doug Dickson, this year's Continental League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Dickson compiled a 15-2 record in 26 starts, tallied 226 strikeouts in 180.2 innings and recorded a 2.59 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .209 batting average against him. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. P.J. Miller of the Minnesota Death Stars finished second in voting, while Randolph Moon of the Concord Coyotes finished third.
