Hoskins CL's Top Player for 2051 Thursday, October 5th , 2051 The manager of the Concord Coyotes said he thinks Chris Hoskins is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2051 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Continental League Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .369 batting average and a .460 on-base percentage this year. In 132 games he piled up 184 hits, 41 doubles, 4 triples, 64 home runs, 163 RBIs and 144 runs scored. He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 28. Carl Miller of the Minnesota Death Stars finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Octávio Barrera of the Concord Coyotes finished third.
