Savannah Hogs Take Round 2 Wednesday, September 17th , 2053 The Savannah Hogs ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Aberdeen Scorpions 6-2 to win the Round 2. Savannah won the series 4-1, capturing the title for the 3rd time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Savannah manager Ismael Herrera. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 99-41 and claimed first place in the Continental League. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and left fielder Jeremy Schmidt said the Hogs have "great fans and they deserve this." "I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
