Mendoza Goes 5-for-5 Against Eau Claire Wednesday, August 9th , 2056 Paco Mendoza had an answer for everything the Eau Claire Esquires threw at him at Legion Ball Park. The Napa center fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Winos a win, 9-7. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Mendoza said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Paco Mendoza hit a two-run home run off Zach Robbins in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Hayes in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
