Year Over for Cougars Brito Friday, May 8th , 2054 Earlier today, Jasper reliever Luis Brito had to leave the game against Del Mar because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a stretched elbow ligament and will miss 10 months of play. Brito was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Brito has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 41 strikeouts and 19 walks in 41.2 innings while registering a 3.89 ERA and a 4-2 won-lost record. |
